The fishing in the waters off of Cabo San Lucas is truly great all year long. The Pacific Ocean meets the Sea of Cortez here and with many offshore underwater canyons and seamount's the water gets very deep very quickly.
The Striped Marlin is abundant all year long and have earned Cabo the title of Marlin Capital of the World. November, December, January, February, March, April, May are favorites for these fish. Dorado, Yellowfin Tuna and Wahoo are also available during these times. In the summer months, when the water warms the Dorado and Tuna action increases and peaks in the months of August, September, October, and November. The first two weeks of December can also be very good. Every year, Yellowfin Tuna over 200+ are regularly caught.
